While the manufacturer has already confirmed plans to display the device globally at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2026, recent leaks indicate that commercial availability may follow shortly thereafter.

According to a recent post on Weibo by tipster Smart Pikachu, the manufacturing process for the Honor Robot Phone is scheduled to begin in the first half of next year. Although specific regional launch plans remain undisclosed, this development signals that the concept is moving toward a tangible market debut.
The Chinese technology brand has officially announced that the device will be showcased in Barcelona during MWC 2026 in March. Industry observers anticipate the commercial launch will occur soon after this global exhibition. The device has previously made appearances at the Honor User Carnival in China and was first teased alongside the launch of the Honor Magic 8 series.
Advanced Imaging and Mechanics
The standout feature of the Honor Robot Phone is its integrated robotic gimbal system mounted on a mechanical arm. This mechanism allows the camera to rotate autonomously, ensuring subjects remain in frame while recording video. The system offers advanced stabilization and tracking capabilities similar to standalone handheld gimbals. Design and Aesthetics
Visually, the smartphone features a flat frame with rounded corners and utilizes a hole-punch design to accommodate the front-facing selfie shooter. In terms of aesthetics, the device was initially revealed in Black, White, and Gold colourways, offering finish options in both leather and glass.
