Google has launched its Pixel Upgrade Programme in India to make owning the latest Pixel smartphones easier and more affordable. The new plan allows users to upgrade their Pixel device every year, starting at Rs 3,333 per month.
The process takes place through a no-cost EMI option. The programme has been introduced in partnership with Cashify, Bajaj Finance Ltd., and HDFC Bank.
What Is the Google Pixel Upgrade Programme?
The Pixel Upgrade Programme lets customers buy select Pixel models including Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It is on a 24-month no-cost EMI plan. After paying nine monthly instalments, users can choose to exchange their existing Pixel for a new one.
The exchange process is simple. Once customers decide to upgrade, Cashify credits the remaining EMI balance into their bank account. This allows them to close the old loan without extra charges. They can then begin a new 24-month EMI plan for the new Pixel. The offer remains valid until June 30, 2026 at select retail stores across India.

How the Programme Works?
To join, buyers must purchase an eligible Pixel model and then register on the Cashify website within 30 days. They can locate nearby partner stores using the online store locator on Cashify’s website. Moreover, the upgrade window is open between the 9th and 15th EMI payments.
Why Does It Matters for Indian Users?
Google said the programme aims to make owning premium phones easy and worry-free. The assured buyback means users don’t have to stress about resale value or phone condition if it turns on and works, it’s accepted.
Those who join also get up to Rs 7,000 as an exchange bonus from Cashify. Plus, Google is offering free trials of its services. Buyers of Pixel 10 Pro models get one year of Google AI Pro, six months of Fitbit Premium and three months of YouTube Premium. Pixel 10 buyers also get six months of Google One (2TB), Fitbit Premium and YouTube Premium.
Responding to the launch, Mitul Shah, Managing Director of Devices and Services at Google India, said,
The initiative reflects Google’s effort to bring advanced AI features and premium experiences to more people across the country. The company wants to remove the usual barriers to owning a high-end smartphone by offering flexible payment options and guaranteed value retention.
This move also supports Google’s broader goal of expanding its Pixel ecosystem in India and promoting the latest AI-powered features to a wider audience.
