Realme has confirmed it will launch the Realme 16 Pro series in India on January 6 2026. The Realme 16 Pro and the 16 Pro+ will succeed the Realme 15 Pro lineup and will be camera-focused smartphones. Here’s a look at what to expect.

The Realme 16 Pro launch event will start at 12 pm IST and will be live-streamed online. The announcement was made via a recent X post by the brand. The post also reveals the design of the phones, which will be all about a bold design and attractive colours.

Famous Japanese designer Fukasawa has collaborated with the brand for the design of the upcoming Realme 16 Pro series. The phones will be sold through Realme’s online store and Flipkart.
Realme 16 Pro Series Key Features And Expectations
Realme has also introduced a microsite to reveal some key details about the Realme 16 Pro series. The phones will focus on strong camera performance. It is revealed that the phones will come with a triple rear camera setup, including a 200MP “Portrait Master” primary camera.
The phones are also confirmed to come in Master Gold, Master Grey, Camellia Pink, and Orchid Purple colour options and will be powered by a Snapdragon processor, possibly the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC.
The smartphones will also focus on AI camera features and include AI Edit Genie 2.0, featuring image editing tools, including AI StyleMe and AI LightMe. While other details remain unknown, you can expect the latest Android 16-based Realme UI and more upgrades.
