The Suzuki Hustler has been spotted undisguised on Indian soil for the first time. This is a renounced Kei car in the Japanese market and was recently spotted doing rounds on the roads of India’s capital.
Suzuki Hustler Spotted: What is It?
The Hustler is a small car with a boxy design, it can be categorised as a micro SUV in the Indian automobile space. In terms of exterior styling, it gets circular headlamps at the front along with an upright stance which enhances its SUV appeal.
The side profile of the SUV has a minimalistic design, complemented with attractive-looking Y-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels, square wheel arches, and large windows.
The rear profile of the car looks distinctive with its rectangular tail lights and black body cladding around the car's lower section.
The Hustler has been designed for intracity commutes, which is evident because of its short wheelbase of 2425mm and short footprint. The SUV has pull-type door handles, roof rails, and a dual-tone paint scheme, giving it a stylish, rugged, and retro appeal.
It is being speculated that the Suzuki Hustler may soon debut in the Indian automobile space. It all started after the leaked images of this car surfaced online. However, there is no confirmation from the Maruti Suzuki about this car’s India launch yet.
Demand for SUVs in the Indian market is on peak currently and Maruti Suzuki may bring this car to India to capture some more share of the SUV market. Once launched in India, it will be significantly cheaper than the Brezza, making it compete with the Hyundai Exter, Tata Punch, etc.
