Italian luxury carmaker Maserati has added another vehicle to its Indian portfolio, dubbed the Grecale SUV.
This Italian performance-centric SUV is offered in three variants: GT, Modena, and a top-of-the-line Trofeo, priced at Rs 1.31 crore, Rs 1.53 crore and Rs 2.05 crore, respectively.
All are ex-showroom figures.
Maserati Grecale Performance and Features
The first two variants of the Maserati Grecale are propelled by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol mill coupled with a mild hybrid technology. The base variant, GT, produces 300hp, which can go from 0 to 100kph in 5.6 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 240kph.
The mid variant, the Modena churns out 330hp, allowing the car to sprint from 0 to 100kph in 5.3 seconds while having the same top speed as the GT variant.
Both the vehicles have an 8-speed automatic transmission, but the Modena variant additionally offers adaptive suspension and limited-slip differential.
The flagship, Trofeo variant, has a 3.0-litre turbo petrol burner and it churns out 530hp, propelling the car from 0 to 100kph in just 3.8 seconds. It also has a much higher top speed of 285kph and the limited slip differential is offered as standard.
As for features, the base, GT variant, gets 19-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, chrome finished logo and highlights on the grille, and twin port exhaust. The brand has loaded its cabin with features like 10-way electrically adjustable front-row seats with memory function, twin 12.3-inch screens (infotainment and the other for the instrumentation), 14-speaker sound system, dual zone AC, and Aluminium paddle shifters. To add an extra layer of safety, the brand has provided Level 1 ADAS.
The Modena variant is loaded with a 20-inch alloy wheel, black inserts (replacement of chrome inserts), 14-way adjustable sport seats, leather upholstery, and a three-zone climate control system, to name a few.
The top-end Trofeo variant houses sporty elements like 21-inch alloy wheels, red brake callipers, sporty bumpers, side skirts, and carbon fibre elements.
