Lately, there has been a buzz circulating online that the Italian automobile manufacturer Lamborghini is all set to launch the descendant of the Huracan, which is rumoured to be called the Temerario (codenamed: 634). The Temerario will mark its global debut on August 16, 2024, at the Monterey Car Week.

As per reports, the successor to the Huracan is rumoured to launch in late 2024.

Lamborghini Temerario: Appearance

Currently, we only have the pictures that show the heavily camouflaged test mule of the upcoming Lamborghini. And, by looking at the pictures, the front end of this vehicle, especially the design of the LED DRLs, is reminiscent of the company’s flagship product, the Revuelto.

That said, this upcoming Italian performance vehicle also incorporates the company’s grille with Y-motifs on bumpers, lights, and wheels.

At the back, the Temerario boasts a high-mounted hexagonal exhaust tip and a notable rear diffuser, which is scooped at the edges, making the wheels exposed.

Overall, the Temerario has an unmistakable Lamborghini silhouette.

Lamborghini Temerario: Offerings

It is confirmed that this high-performance supercar will be powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, accompanied by a plug-in hybrid setup.

The combustion engine alone churns out 800bhp and 730Nm of peak torque, making the figures significantly beyond the Huracan’s naturally aspirated V10 engine, including the Huracan STO version. Speaking of which, the Italian carmaker has axed the V10 engine for this upcoming performance car.

On the other hand, the electric motor separately produces 150bhp and 300Nm of peak torque. The combined power is sent to the wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. And, thanks to the given engine’s state of tune, the Temerario will have a 10,000rpm redline.

This powertrain will be developed at Lamborghini’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.

Apart from that, the interior’s details are still under wraps, but we expect this vehicle to house a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch infotainment unit, and a 9.1-inch front passenger display.

Launch Details

Lamborghini has already displayed the Temerario’s launch date on its official website. This vehicle is expected to be launched later this year.
