2024 Hero Destini 125 Revealed with New Features; Details Here

Propelling the 2024 Hero Destini is the same old 124.6cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine which churns out 9hp at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.

Indian two-wheeler giant Hero has introduced the 2024 edition of their popular scooter the Destini 125. The scooter has undergone this update 6 long years after its debut in 2018. This second-generation model features significant design and features upgrades over its predecessor. 

2024 Hero Destini 125: What’s Changed and What’s Not?

The scooter boasts a brand-new design and it also has grown dimensionally. The 2024 Hero Destini 125 has a 57mm longer wheelbase compared to its predecessor, which results in a longer 785mm seat and slightly better space on the footboard area. The scooter has a 19-litres storage capacity under the seat and its fuel tank capacity is 5-litres. 

The scooter gets a brand new LED lighting setup for the headlamps as well as the taillamps the headlamp housing also has DRLs built, however, the indicators of the scooter are still halogen bulb units. The scooter is available in three variants; VX, ZX and ZX+.

The base VX variant gets drum brakes on both ends and a simple analogue instrument console with a small LCD unit and it does not get i3s.

The ZX variant of the scooter is loaded with features to the brim, it gets fully digital instrumentation, Bluetooth connectivity, a front disc brake, segment-first auto cancelling indicators, a pillion backrest, a backlit starter button and more. 

The top-of-the-line ZX+ variant gets all the bells and whistles of the ZX variant and additionally, it is loaded with bronze highlights and gets machine-cut alloy wheels. 

All three variants of the 2024 Hero Destini 125 get features like CBS (Combined Braking System), side stand engine cutoff sensor, external fuel filler for enhanced convenience, USB port for mobile charging, under seat light, up to 3kg loading capacity luggage hook and more. 

The scooter now has new 12-inch alloy wheels on both ends and a wider 100/80-12 section rear tyre. The ZX and ZX+ variants can be had with a 190mm disc brake at the front and the base VX variant gets a 130mm drum setup.

The brand claims a fuel efficiency figure of 59kmpl for the new scooter.

The Hero Destini is currently on sale in the Indian market with a starting price of Rs 80,000, ex-showroom. Considering all the upgrades, we expect the 2024 Hero Destini to be priced slightly higher than this.
