Apple is gearing up for new product launches this week. These will include the M5 chip-powered iPad Pro and a new iteration of Vision Pro with a faster chipset. The launch lineup could also include the latest MacBook Pro with the M5 chip. This comes after the recent release of the iPhone 17 series, the new Apple Watches, and the AirPods 3.
New M5 Apple Products Coming Soon
Apple has been rumoured to launch a new iPad Pro with the M5 chip in October, and it appears this will finally happen this week, according to Mark Gurman’s Power On newsletter. It is said that the new iPad Pro won’t be a major upgrade but will bring incremental updates, such as the new M5 chip. The new chipset will result in up to 12% faster CPU performance.
It is also expected to feature a secondary front-facing camera. While Gurman is certain about this, a recently leaked video of the new iPad Pro didn’t highlight this, so we have to wait for the official announcement to get better clarity.
There will also be the new Vision Pro, which could either include the M5 or the M4 chip. A few upgrades are expected, but we don’t expect anything major. Bear in mind, this won’t be the Vision Pro 2 but just an iterative model.
M5 MacBook Pro to be Launched a Little Early
The list also includes the new 14-inch MacBook Pro with the base M5 chip. This was previously set for early 2026, but now that the base chip is ready, Apple will launch the new MacBook Pro this week, too. There is a chance that the MacBooks with the M5 Pro and the M5 Max chips will be released in 2026.
The new MacBook Pro will bring several performance upgrades but won’t include major feature upgrades.
We have yet to see what all the new Apple products will introduce. One thing to note here is that there’s no official word on the launches, so we will have to wait for official announcements. Stay tuned to this space for further updates.
