What Apple Fitness+ Offers?

The service gives access to 12 different types of workouts. This includes Strength, Yoga, HIIT, Pilates, Dance, Cycling, Kickboxing and Meditation. Each session lasts between 5 and 45 minutes.

For a better experience, pairing with an Apple Watch helps. With a watch or compatible headphones, users can see metrics on-screen. This includes heart rate, calories burned, and progress in their activity rings.

Jay Blahnik, Apple’s vice president of Fitness Technologies, said,

“Through its seamless integration across Apple devices, Fitness+ has helped inspire users to live a healthier day.” From seeing real-time, personal metrics right onscreen with Apple Watch or AirPods Pro 3, to the ability to bring the service with you wherever you go on iPhone or iPad, we’re delivering unmatched motivation to users. We couldn’t be more excited to bring this experience to even more users around the globe with our biggest expansion yet.”

To make exercise more fun, Apple even added music features. There is now a K-pop music genre for workouts.

Apple Fitness+ Cost, Availability and Extra Perks

In India, Fitness+ would cost Rs149 per month or ₹999 per year. The subscription can be shared with up to five family members.

If you buy a new Apple device like an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, or compatible headphones, users get three months of Apple Fitness+ free. Moreover, Fitness+ will be available not only in India but also in many other regions as part of this global expansion.

Why This Matters for Users in India?

For people in India, this means they can now access Apple’s guided workouts and meditation sessions without needing a gym. Workouts are flexible, as you can do them at home or on the go. On the other hand, the addition of K-pop and other genres may appeal to younger users.

With the launch of Apple Fitness+ in India, many more people could professionally access guided workouts and wellness programmes right on their devices.
