Xiaomi has revealed the official schedule for its Android 16-based HyperOS 3 update, which will begin rolling out in mid-October. The first devices to get the new software will be the Xiaomi 15 series and the Redmi K80 Pro. By the end of October, the update will also expand to smartwatches, tablets, smart TVs, and even a foldable phone. Older smartphones and select devices will receive the upgrade gradually, with some updates continuing into January 2026.
First Batch of Devices
Starting October 15, flagship models such as the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi 15S Pro, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Xiaomi 15, Redmi K80 Pro, and Redmi K80 Extreme Edition will be the first to receive the HyperOS 3 update.
Xiaomi 17 Series Comes with HyperOS 3 Pre-Installed
Later this month, the brand will launch its next flagship lineup in China—the Xiaomi 17 series, which includes the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. These phones, debuting on September 25, will ship with the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 straight out of the box.
More Devices by End of October
On October 31, the rollout will extend to the Mix Flip 2 foldable, the Redmi K80, and the mid-range Civi 5 Pro. Alongside smartphones, the Xiaomi Tablet 7 series, Redmi K Pad, Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2025 series, and Watch S4 series are also set to receive the update on the same date.
November Updates for Older Flagships
From November 15, devices like the Xiaomi 14 series, Mix Fold 4, and Mix Flip will start getting the new software. On November 30, the update will reach the Redmi TV X 2025 Series, Redmi Display G Pro 27U, and the Xiaomi Band 10.
Updates Stretching Into 2026
The rollout doesn’t end there. The Xiaomi 13 series is scheduled to be updated in December 2025, while the Xiaomi 12 series will finally get the HyperOS 3 update in January 2026. This ensures even older flagships will benefit from Xiaomi’s latest software improvements.
