The upcoming Vivo X300 series is already creating buzz, and now the company has officially confirmed a major camera upgrade. Both the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro will debut with a 200-megapixel camera sensor, though each model will use the sensor in a different way.
Vivo X300 Pro: 200-Megapixel Telephoto with Zeiss T* Coating
According to Vivo’s product manager, the Vivo X300 Pro will feature a 200-megapixel telephoto shooter designed for long-range photography. This lens is confirmed to use the Zeiss T* coating, which helps reduce colour differences, while fluorite glass lenses are included to minimise light dispersion. The Pro model is also equipped with a specially designed lens module tailored for high-pixel sensors, ensuring sharper results with minimal distortion.
Vivo X300: 200-Megapixel Main Camera
On the other hand, the standard Vivo X300 will come with a 200-megapixel main camera. Both models will use sensors with a 0.56-micrometre pixel size, enabling versatile shooting modes. Users can capture images in 23mm 200-megapixel resolution for wide-angle detail or switch to 50mm 50-megapixel photography for portrait-style shots.
Zeiss Collaboration and Imaging Enhancements
The partnership with Zeiss plays a key role in elevating the Vivo X300 series. With software-hardware integration, the cameras are expected to deliver clearer, more natural results without the over-processed look often associated with AI-driven photography.
With these upgrades, the Vivo X300 Pro is positioned as a powerful option for telephoto enthusiasts, while the Vivo X300 caters to users who want a high-resolution primary shooter. Both devices aim to set new benchmarks in smartphone imaging.
