Get ready, tech fans—Vivo’s brand new X300 flagship phones are officially on their way to India. After launching in other parts of the world, the company has started teasing the Vivo X300 Pro and the standard X300 for an Indian debut.
The biggest buzz so far is about a new Red color. It looks like this eye-catching shade will be an “India-exclusive,” meaning only customers in India will be able to get their hands on it.
A Special New “India Red”
Vivo hasn’t been shy about this new color. The company hinted at it on X (what we all still call Twitter), and a special page is now live on the Vivo India website, confirming the new red option. It seems like the standard Vivo X300 will be the model getting this special treatment.
What’s Powering These New Phones?
Vivo has also confirmed what’s under the hood, and it’s just as impressive as the global version.
Both the X300 and X300 Pro will use the latest 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. That’s a fancy way of saying they should be incredibly fast and powerful. They also have two extra chips (the Pro Imaging VS1 and V3+ chips) dedicated just to making your photos and videos look better. Out of the box, they’ll run on the new Android 16 software.
Cameras That Could Be a Game-Changer
Here’s what most people are excited about: the cameras. Both phones have triple-camera systems tuned by the legendary camera company Zeiss.
The Vivo X300 Pro is the top-of-the-line model and comes with:
-
A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony LYT-828)
-
A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera (Samsung JN1)
-
A massive 200-megapixel telephoto camera for zoom shots
-
A 50-megapixel front camera for selfies
The Standard Vivo X300 is no slouch, either. It’s also getting an amazing camera setup:
-
A huge 200-megapixel main camera with OIS (to stop blurry photos)
-
A 50-megapixel telephoto camera, also with OIS
-
A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera
-
The same 50-megapixel selfie camera as the Pro
