Vivo is gearing up to bring its latest flagship duo — the Vivo X300 Pro and Vivo X300 — to India. The phones, which made their debut in China earlier this month, have now popped up on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. This is usually a clear sign that an official launch in India is right around the corner.

Launch Details and Certification

While Vivo hasn’t officially revealed the launch date or pricing yet, the BIS listing adds weight to speculation of an early India release. According to tipster Anvin (@ZionsAnvin) on X (formerly Twitter), the Pro model carries the model number V2514, while the standard version is listed as V2515. Interestingly, both devices also showed up recently on the UAE’s TDRA certification site, hinting at a wider global rollout. An official India launch announcement is expected in the coming weeks.

Vivo X300 Pro: The Premium Flagship

The X300 Pro is the top-end variant and comes loaded with some serious hardware. It sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Circular Polarisation 2.0 for better outdoor visibility. Under the hood, it packs the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6.

When it comes to cameras, Vivo is flexing its strength here. The X300 Pro features a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, and a massive 200MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS, supported by Vivo’s V3+ and Vs1 imaging chips. For selfies, there’s a 50MP front camera.

Powering all this is a 6,510mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support. Other highlights include IP68 dust and water resistance, dual speakers, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

Vivo X300: The Compact Powerhouse

The regular Vivo X300 is a slightly more compact version but still retains flagship power. It comes with a 6.31-inch 1.5K OLED display and the same Dimensity 9500 chip running on Android 16. The battery is a bit smaller at 6,040mAh, but it still supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

The camera setup here is also impressive: a 200MP Samsung HPB main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP Sony LYT-602 periscope telephoto lens, along with the same 50MP selfie shooter as the Pro model.

Shared Features

Both the X300 Pro and X300 come loaded with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connectivity. They also feature an Action Button and a signal amplifier chip to improve network performance.

Expected Pricing in India

The BIS certification strongly hints that the Indian launch is just weeks away. Based on Chinese pricing, the Vivo X300 Pro could start at over ₹65,000, while the X300 may come in at around ₹55,000.

The X300 Pro is set to compete head-on with the OnePlus 13 Pro, Xiaomi 15 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy S24+, while the X300 should appeal to buyers looking for a compact flagship in the upper mid-range segment.

With powerful new cameras, super-fast charging, and the debut of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 in India, the Vivo X300 series is shaping up to be a strong contender in the flagship market.
