The 2025 update to the TVS Apache RTR 310 isn’t just about a few cosmetic changes — it’s a thoughtful upgrade that enhances the bike’s usability, riding dynamics, and tech appeal. TVS Motor Company has brought in new features, revised styling, and expanded the Build-To-Order (BTO) customization platform, allowing buyers to tailor the bike to their preferences like never before.
Same Power, Better Tuning
At its core, the Apache RTR 310 continues to be powered by the familiar 312.12 cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 35.6 PS at 9,700 rpm and 28.7 Nm at 6,650 rpm. While the performance figures remain unchanged, TVS says the engine has been fine-tuned for better throttle response in real-world riding conditions. It’s now OBD2B compliant, meaning it can handle real-time emissions data logging and is aligned with the latest emission regulations.
Transparent Clutch Cover: A Segment First
One of the standout additions this year is the transparent clutch cover — a first-in-class feature. It’s a visual treat for enthusiasts and adds a layer of mechanical character, much like what we’ve seen on the brand’s faired sibling, the RR 310.
Fresh Colours and Suspension Upgrade
Visually, the bike gets updated graphics and colour options, with three new shades introduced for 2025. The eye-catching Sepang Blue colour remains exclusive to the top-spec BTO variant. Also worth noting is the upgrade to the base model’s suspension, which now gets 43 mm USD forks to match the rest of the lineup.
Feature Upgrades Across the Board
TVS has also improved the everyday usability of the Apache RTR 310. Sequential turn signals and hand guards now come standard, while the all-new second generation digital cluster has a revised user interface with support for multiple languages and deeper menu customisation. It’s a much smarter and more intuitive system, reducing the need for physical switches.
BTO Options Add Serious Tech
One of the biggest selling points continues to be the BTO programme, which lets buyers pick and choose performance packages. With the Dynamic Pro Kit, riders can unlock advanced features like a keyless system, Drag Torque Control, and Launch Control — all integrated into the bike’s RT-DSC platform (short for Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control). This platform also brings in rider aids like cornering ABS, traction control, and wheelie mitigation, making the RTR 310 one of the most tech-packed bikes in its class.
Familiar Riding Triangle, Enhanced Simplicity
TVS has retained the aggressive-yet-familiar riding position — the same aggressive rider triangle that current Apache riders will instantly feel at home on. While the ergonomics remain the same, the rider interface has been simplified, thanks to the new cluster and fewer physical controls.
Pricing and Availability
The 2025 Apache RTR 310 starts at Rs. 2,39,990 (ex-showroom) for the base model and goes up to Rs. 2,57,000 for the top non-BTO variant. Those opting for BTO options will need to shell out at least Rs. 2,75,000, depending on the selected features and kits. The updated lineup will be available from July 16 across major cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata.
