Tecno has confirmed the arrival of its next budget-friendly smartphone, the Spark Go 3. The Chinese manufacturer announced on Friday that the handset will officially launch in India on January 16. A tougher build for the budget market
The biggest talking point for the Spark Go 3 seems to be its build quality. According to the Amazon listing, the phone will feature a flat metal frame, which is a rare premium touch in the entry-level segment that is usually dominated by plastic.
Tecno is marketing the device as surprisingly rugged. It comes with an IP64 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and water splashes. The company also claims the phone has been tested to survive drops from a height of 1.2 meters. In terms of aesthetics, it sports a pill-shaped camera island on the back and will be available in a blue color option.

Tecno is also touting a few unusual software features to help the phone stand out.
