Tata Motors has refreshed its SUV lineup with the launch of new Adventure X variants for both the Safari and Harrier. These new versions replace the previous Adventure trims, making the range more streamlined and easier for buyers to choose from. The pricing starts at ₹19.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Safari Adventure X, while the Harrier Adventure X comes in slightly cheaper, starting at ₹18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

No Major Changes on the Outside, But Interiors Get a Stylish Update

From the outside, both the Safari and Harrier retain their bold and muscular design. The Safari continues with its 18-inch alloy wheels, while the Harrier gets 17-inch alloy wheels — nothing new there.

But step inside, and you’ll notice some nice changes. The Harrier Adventure X now features a cabin finished in Onyx Trail interiors, which includes black leatherette seats with tan inserts. Meanwhile, the Safari Adventure X gets its own unique theme — Adventure Oak interiors — with tan leatherette upholstery and black inserts. These changes give both SUVs a more premium, rugged feel.

Packed With Premium Features

Tata has packed both SUVs with a long list of features designed for comfort and convenience. These include:

  • Voice-assisted panoramic sunroof

  • 360-degree HD surround view camera

  • Ergo Lux powered driver seat

  • Trail Sense auto headlamps

  • Aqua Sense wipers

  • Rear wash wiper

  • 4-spoke Phygital steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo

  • 10.25-inch infotainment screen

  • Digital instrument cluster

These features bring both the Safari and Harrier Adventure X variants in line with modern expectations, making them feel just as high-tech as they look tough on the road.

Safety Gets a Major Boost

On the safety front, Tata isn’t cutting corners. Both SUVs come equipped with:

  • Six airbags

  • Advanced electronic stability program with driver doze-off alert

  • Electronic parking brake

  • Quad disc braking

  • Five-star GNCAP safety rating

And if you opt for the automatic variant, you’ll also get ADAS with Adaptive Cruise Control, a segment-first offering at this price point. It adds a layer of semi-autonomous safety and convenience, making highway driving easier and safer.

Under the Hood: Same Trusted Diesel Power

Powering the Adventure X variants is Tata’s familiar 2.0-litre diesel engine, producing 167 hp and 350 Nm of torque. It’s available with both a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission, giving buyers the freedom to choose based on their driving style. Just keep in mind — that ADAS with Adaptive Cruise Control is exclusive to the automatic (AT) variants.

With these new Adventure X and Adventure X+ variants, Tata Motors has added more value, better features, and updated interiors to its already popular Safari and Harrier SUVs. Whether you’re a family buyer or an enthusiast looking for a rugged SUV with premium features, these updates make the lineup even more attractive — and safer — than before.
