Tata Motors has been receiving an overwhelming response for its products lately. The brand has dominated the market across segments, maintaining a strong foothold in both the ICE and EV spaces. The company recently announced a major milestone, revealing that it has achieved cumulative sales of 2.5 lakh units in its electric vehicle division.

As per details shared by the brand, the Nexon EV has played a crucial role in this success, emerging as a top choice among buyers. The model has surpassed the 1 lakh sales milestone in India, making it Tata’s best-selling electric vehicle. The Nexon EV was launched at a starting price of Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Other offerings such as the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Punch EV, Harrier EV, and Curvv EV have also delivered strong performance this year. All these EVs have not just received good sales figures in 2025, but also attracted a lot of new buyers. The whole product line has been treated with impressive safety features, and offers a decent range on a single charge in the real world.

Meanwhile, Tata Motors continues to lead the Indian EV market with a commanding market share of 66%, securing the top position. MG Motor follows in second place, while Mahindra occupies the third spot. The company said it is gearing up to add new electric models in 2026, and will offer a wide options to the customers.
The brand is likely to release the much-awaited Sierra EV, the futuristic Avinya, and the Punch EV facelift. The former has been spotted multiple times during the testing phase, keeping the target audience hooked for the product. However, the company has kept the model under wrap and has not revealed any official details about the same as of now.
