After leading the smartphone market with cutting-edge technology, Samsung has now announced its most advanced chipset yet — the Exynos 2600. According to details shared by Android Authority, this next-generation processor is likely to power one of the upcoming Galaxy S26 series smartphones, hinting at Samsung’s renewed push toward high-end in-house silicon.

As per information available online, the newly unveiled Exynos 2600 is built using advanced Gate-All-Around (GAA) process technology. This marks a significant step forward in semiconductor manufacturing, aiming to provide enhanced performance and efficiency. The chipset features a 10-core CPU based on Arm’s latest architectures, complemented by a powerful graphics solution and improved AI capabilities.

Earlier reports suggest that the Exynos 2600 will adopt a mix of high-performance and efficiency cores. This approach is expected to strike a balance between speed and battery life, while the upgraded GPU aims to deliver better gaming and graphics performance.

One of the key highlights of the chipset is its Neural Processing Unit (NPU), which has been designed to handle complex on-device AI tasks more efficiently. Additionally, Samsung has reportedly introduced new thermal design improvements to address past heating concerns associated with Exynos chips. These enhancements should help maintain stable performance even during heavy workloads.

Meanwhile, Samsung has not yet revealed the exact regional distribution strategy. However, reports indicate that the Exynos 2600 could be used in the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus in select markets, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to feature a Snapdragon chipset globally.
