Royal Enfield made a strong statement at EICMA 2025 in Italy, pulling the covers off multiple exciting motorcycles — including the flagship Himalayan 750, the Bullet 650, and even its first all-electric model, the Flying Flea FF.S6.
But one of the standout highlights was the launch of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Mana Black Edition — a special, rally-ready variant of the Himalayan designed for serious adventure riders who want race-level capability straight from the factory.
Inspired by the Mighty Mana Pass
As the name suggests, the Mana Black Edition takes its inspiration from Mana Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, perched at a staggering 18,478 feet above sea level. This historic mountain route connects Badrinath in India to Tibet, and it perfectly embodies the spirit of endurance, exploration, and high-altitude adventure that the Himalayan stands for.
Drawing from that inspiration, Royal Enfield has fine-tuned the Mana Black Edition with design and ergonomic upgrades that make it the most off-road-focused version of the Himalayan yet — purpose-built for tackling rough terrain and long-distance rallies.
Stealth Styling and Factory Rally Kit
The Himalayan Mana Black Edition instantly grabs attention with its Stealth Black paint scheme, complemented by matte vinyl graphics that enhance its rugged aesthetic.
What makes this version special is that it comes factory-fitted with premium rally accessories — no aftermarket tinkering required. The package includes:
-
Blacked-out handguards for better protection
-
A black rally-style seat for long off-road stints
-
A rally mudguard designed to handle slush and debris
-
Tubeless spoked wheels that add durability and make puncture repairs easier on the go
These components are usually optional add-ons for the standard Himalayan 450, but in the Mana Black Edition, they come built-in — giving adventure riders a complete rally setup straight out of the showroom.
Pricing and Availability
For now, Royal Enfield has announced the Himalayan 450 Mana Black Edition only for Italy and the UK.
-
In Italy, it’s priced at €6,600 (approximately ₹6.71 lakh).
-
In the UK, it costs £6,400 (around ₹7.38 lakh).
There’s no word yet on whether Royal Enfield plans to bring this edition to India, though given the bike’s local fanbase and terrain suitability, enthusiasts will surely be hoping it does.
Same Engine, More Attitude
While the Mana Black Edition gets a bolder design and upgraded off-road hardware, it remains mechanically identical to the standard Himalayan 450.
Powering it is the same 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder Sherpa 450 engine, delivering 39.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch, ensuring smooth shifts both on-road and off.
The bike retains its 17-litre fuel tank and 196 kg kerb weight, making it capable of long-haul rides without compromising agility.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Mana Black Edition feels like a natural evolution of the brand’s adventure lineup — rugged, focused, and full of character. It takes everything riders love about the Himalayan and turns up the attitude with factory-fitted rally gear and stealthy styling.
For adventure enthusiasts in Europe, it’s a ready-to-ride rally machine that doesn’t need a single aftermarket upgrade. And if it eventually comes to India, it could easily become the most desirable Himalayan ever built.
