Smartphone fans, get ready. After launching in China earlier this year, the popular Redmi Note 15 series is reportedly heading to India soon. New leaks from tech insiders suggest a launch window is just around the corner.
The new lineup, which is expected to include the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and the Note 15 Pro, could be unveiled in India as early as December. On top of that, a launch timeline for the budget-friendly Redmi 15C has also been hinted at.
Note 15 Pro: A December Launch and January Sale?
According to well-known tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Redmi Note 15 series is being slated for a December 2025 launch in India. He also suggests that the first official sale for these new phones, which are part of the Xiaomi sub-brand, could kick off on January 9, 2026.
This new timeline matches up with earlier whispers that suggested a January 2026 release.
When it comes to price, don’t expect any major surprises. Reports suggest the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and Redmi Note 15 Pro will be priced similarly to last year’s models. For a quick refresher, the Note 14 Pro+ started at Rs. 29,999, while the Note 14 Pro started at Rs. 23,999. It’s also been rumored that the Indian versions might have slightly different camera setups than the ones sold in China.
What About the Redmi 15C?
The same tipster also gave a hint about the Redmi 15C’s arrival in India. This phone, which was released in China back in September, could be launched even sooner.
What’s still unclear is whether India will get the 4G or the 5G version of the phone. In other countries, both are available with slightly different specs. The Redmi 15C 5G runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, while the Redmi 15C 4G uses a MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra.
Both models, however, share some great features: a tough IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
