Realme is bringing its latest flagship phone, the Realme GT 8 Pro, to India on November 20. This is nearly a month after the phone debuted in China. The smartphone is a part of the brand’s GT series and features all the bells and whistles — a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 7,000mAh battery, a 2K display, and more. Here’s what to expect from the upcoming launch.
Realme GT 8 Pro Coming to India This Month
The Realme GT 8 Pro will be launched on November 20 at 12 pm IST. This aligns with a previous rumour that the phone will launch by the end of November. A dedicated microsite has also gone live, revealing many highlighting details of the phone.
Realme has opted for a new design for the GT 8 Pro, and the highlight is that it’s the “world’s first switch design.” This essentially means that you will be able to replace the camera lens cover (which is customisable). The GT 8 Pro is confirmed to get Diary White (in metal finish) and Urban Blue (in paper-like leather finish) colour options. It will also support an IP69 rating.
The smartphone will combine the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and the HyperVision AI chip for smooth performance and visuals. It natively supports a 2K display, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 7000 nits of peak brightness. The display will also come with industry-leading eye protection.
The device will house a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, 7K Ultimate VC Cooling System, Acoustic speakers, Realme UI 7.0 (based on Android 16), and much more.
More details regarding the Realme GT 8 Pro will be revealed at the time of launch, which is two weeks from now. Stay tuned for all the updates.
