Realme has officially confirmed that its next flagship, the Realme GT 8 Pro, will launch in India this November. The phone, already introduced in China earlier this month, is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and comes paired with Realme’s in-house HyperVision AI chip.
Dedicated landing pages have already gone live, showing that the GT 8 Pro will be sold via Flipkart and the Realme India website, setting the stage for a big festive season debut. What remains unclear for now is whether the standard Realme GT 8 will also make its way to India.
What to Expect in India
According to the microsites, the Indian variant will carry the same powerhouse hardware as the Chinese version. That means the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, the HyperVision AI chip, and a Ricoh GR-tuned rear camera setup are all confirmed.
Realme GT 8 Pro Specs (China Model)
The GT 8 Pro made its debut in China on October 21 alongside the regular GT 8. There, it features a 6.79-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, ultra-high 7,000 nits peak brightness, and a 3,200Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
The phone packs a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, meaning all-day power with quick top-ups.
Realme GT 8 Pro Pricing in China
In China, the Realme GT 8 Pro is priced at CNY 3,999 (around ₹50,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model, while the top-tier 16GB + 1TB version costs CNY 5,199 (around ₹64,000). The phone is available in Blue, White, and Green color options.
India Launch Outlook
