The Realme 16 Pro series is all set to break cover in India on January 6. With the launch just a few days away, several key details, including the pricing, have been leaked online. According to a report by 91Mobiles, the company will introduce two models in the lineup — the Realme 16 Pro 5G and the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G.
Realme 16 Pro Pricing and Accessibility
Speaking of pricing, the Realme 16 Pro 5G is expected to be priced at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 256GB version could cost Rs 33,999, while the top-end 12GB + 256GB variant is likely to be priced at Rs 36,999.
As for the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G, the base 8GB + 128GB variant is expected to retail at Rs 39,999. Meanwhile, the higher 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants may be priced at Rs 41,999 and Rs 44,999, respectively.
Interested customers will be able to purchase the smartphones via the company’s authorised dealerships as well as online through third-party platforms such as Flipkart and Amazon.
Realme 16 Pro Key Highlights
Realme has already revealed some key specifications of the upcoming devices. As per the details shared by the brand, both models will be backed by a massive 7,000mAh battery and feature a 200MP primary camera. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the Realme 16 Pro 5G will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max chipset. Other notable features remain under wraps for now.
In terms of competition, the Realme 16 Pro+ series will go up against popular smartphones such as the iQOO Neo 10, OnePlus Nord 5, and OPPO F31 Pro+. Meanwhile, the standard Realme 16 Pro 5G will compete with rivals like the Oppo Reno13 5G, Vivo T4 Pro 5G, and Oppo F31 Pro 5G, among others.
