Realme 16 Pro+ 5G Specifications (Leaked)
A report by 91Mobiles Hindi, citing industry insiders, suggests that the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G will debut in India with four distinct storage options. The base model is expected to feature 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Higher-tier configurations may include 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and a top-end variant with 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage.
In terms of aesthetics, the device—bearing the model number RMX5131—is rumored to be available in three specific colourways: Camellia Pink, Master Gold, and Master Grey. These details align with earlier information shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), who previously suggested similar specifications and design choices for the unreleased phone.
The leaks further indicate that the smartphone could be powered by a substantial 7,000mAh battery, a notable increase in capacity compared to industry standards. For optics, it is expected to house a high-resolution 200-megapixel rear camera alongside a 50-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The display is tipped to be a 6.78-inch OLED panel offering a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
Comparison with Predecessor
The new model is poised to succeed the Realme 14 Pro+ 5G, which was released in India earlier this year in January. The predecessor launched with a starting price of Rs. 29,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB model and was also available in 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB configurations. It was offered in Bikaner Purple, Pearl White, and Suede Grey colour options.
To recap, the key features of the previous generation included a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen, a triple rear camera unit, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Under the hood, it was powered by the Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 processor and supported by a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging.
