Realme may soon add two new smartphones to its India lineup. After recently revealing the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Edition in China, the company now appears to be working on expanding its mainstream series. According to fresh leaks, Realme is getting ready to launch the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and an affordable Realme C81.
New Models and Expected Variants
The leaks come from tipster Abhishek Yadav, who posted on X (formerly Twitter) that two new model numbers—RMX5131 and RMX5388—have surfaced. These are believed to belong to the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and Realme C81.
The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is expected to arrive in several memory and storage combinations:
• 8GB + 128GB
• 8GB + 256GB
• 12GB + 256GB
• 12GB + 512GB (top-end variant)
The phone may also launch in three colour options: Master Grey, Master Gold, and Camellia Pink.
Meanwhile, the Realme C81 is positioned as a budget 4G phone. It may launch with:
• 4GB + 64GB
• 4GB + 128GB
Colour options for the C81 reportedly include Storm Black and Glacier Blue.
Where These Phones Fit in the Lineup
If the leaks are accurate, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G will join the upcoming Realme 16 series, which will succeed the current Realme 15 Pro 5G and Realme 15 5G models. It would also be the first “Pro+” model since the Realme 14 Pro+ 5G, which launched in India in January.
Realme has been active in other categories as well. The Realme C85 5G recently made headlines due to its massive 7,000mAh battery. At the same time, early details about the standard Realme 16 Pro have already appeared on certification sites like TENAA and MIIT, hinting at upcoming announcements.
The company is also preparing to launch the Realme P4x 5G in India, with leaks revealing its colour options and hardware details.
