Poco seems to be preparing for another big moment in the tablet market. A new leak has revealed early details about what could be the brand’s next major launch — the Poco Pad M1, a follow-up to last year’s popular Poco Pad. And if the leak is accurate, this upcoming tablet could be a strong contender in the mid-range segment.
A Bigger Screen and a Clear Price Leak
The leaked information suggests that the Poco Pad M1 will be priced at EUR 349 (around Rs 36,000) for the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
In return, buyers may get a large 12.1-inch LCD display, ideal for watching movies, bingeing videos, or gaming. The screen is rumored to offer a smooth 120Hz refresh rate along with a crisp 2.5K resolution, promising an enjoyable viewing experience.
For cameras, Poco seems to be keeping things minimal: an 8MP rear camera and another 8MP front camera, mainly for video calls and basic photos.
What’s Powering the Poco Pad M1?
Under the hood, the tablet is expected to run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. It’s not a flagship chip, but it should comfortably handle everyday use, multitasking, and media apps. The device may feature LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and — good news for storage-heavy users — a microSD card slot for expansion.
Other leaked features include:
-
Quad speakers for an immersive media experience
-
Wi-Fi 6 support
-
Bluetooth 5.4
-
IP54 rating for light dust and splash resistance
A Massive Battery Is the Star of the Show
One of the biggest highlights is the rumored 12,000mAh battery. That’s huge, and it suggests the Poco Pad M1 could deliver excellent all-day or even multi-day usage depending on how it’s used. The tablet is also said to support 33W fast charging.
Launch Could Be Close
Signs point toward an imminent launch. The Poco Pad M1 was recently spotted on the TDRA certification website, which usually happens shortly before a product goes official. Many reports also suggest that this tablet might simply be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, which launched a few months earlier.
If true, Poco could soon have another strong mid-range tablet ready for the Indian and global markets — one with big battery life, a large display, and modern connectivity features.
