Poco M7 Plus 5G was launched in India on Wednesday, joining the existing Poco M7 5G and Poco M7 Pro 5G models in the market. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC from Qualcomm, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. One of its standout features is the large 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 33W fast charging and reverse charging for other devices. According to the company, this is the largest battery seen in its price segment so far.

Poco M7 Plus 5G Price in India and Availability

The Poco M7 Plus 5G is priced at ₹13,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB version is available for ₹14,999. Sales will start on August 19 at 12 PM IST through Flipkart. Buyers can choose from three colour options — Aqua Blue, Carbon Black, and Chrome Silver.

As part of the launch offers, customers can get an instant ₹1,000 discount when using HDFC, SBI, or ICICI Bank cards, or avail an additional ₹1,000 exchange bonus on eligible devices.

Poco M7 Plus 5G Specifications and Features

The Poco M7 Plus 5G features a 6.9-inch Full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate, a 288Hz touch sampling rate, and 850 nits peak brightness. The display is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light, flicker-free viewing, and circadian-friendly standards.

It runs on a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, which can be expanded virtually to 16GB. Internal storage goes up to 128GB of UFS 2.2, and the device ships with Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0. Users will receive two years of major OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

For cameras, the Poco M7 Plus 5G is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor and an unspecified secondary sensor. The front houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera, with video recording supported up to 1080p at 30fps.

Battery, Connectivity, and Build

A key highlight is the 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 33W wired fast charging and 18W reverse wired charging. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

The handset also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Dimensions are 169.48×80.45×8.40mm, and it weighs 217g.
