The next generation of Oppo’s popular mid-premium lineup is on its way. According to reports, the Oppo Reno 15 series will launch in India in the coming weeks, introducing three new smartphones — the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Mini.
While Oppo has not yet revealed official specifications or pricing, multiple leaks suggest that all three models will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, feature triple rear cameras, and come with design and performance upgrades over the Reno 14 series.
Launch Timeline and Lineup Details
A new report from 91Mobiles, in collaboration with reliable tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, claims that the Oppo Reno 15 lineup will debut in India in December 2025.
Initially, there were reports that Oppo would launch these models as the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Max, but it now appears the company will instead offer Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and a compact Reno 15 Mini.
All three devices are expected to continue Oppo’s design philosophy of slim builds, premium materials, and vibrant display technology.
Display and Build: Larger Screens and Premium Feel
In terms of size, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat display, while the Reno 15 could sport a slightly smaller 6.59-inch screen. The Reno 15 Mini, the most compact of the lineup, may come with a 6.32-inch 1.5K panel.
Leaks also suggest that Oppo may use a metal frame for the series, enhancing the build quality. Additionally, the new models could arrive with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance — a first for the Reno lineup, making them more durable and premium than ever.
Performance and Battery Upgrades
Performance-wise, the Reno 15 series is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 SoC, promising better speed and efficiency compared to the previous generation.
Some earlier leaks, however, claimed that the Reno 15 Pro (previously rumored as the Reno 15 Pro Max) could use the Dimensity 9400 chipset, paired with a 6,500mAh battery and support for 50W wireless charging — which would make it one of Oppo’s most feature-packed Reno devices to date.
Camera: 200MP Sensor Takes the Lead
Camera leaks point to major upgrades in the imaging department. Both the Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Mini are expected to feature triple rear camera setups, headlined by a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor.
This will reportedly be paired with a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, offering serious versatility for photography enthusiasts. On the front, Oppo might equip all models with 50-megapixel selfie cameras for sharp, high-quality self-portraits.
What to Expect from the Reno 15 Series
With each new generation, Oppo has focused on delivering a blend of style, innovation, and camera prowess — and the Reno 15 series seems ready to take that legacy forward.
If the leaks hold true, buyers can expect:
-
Upgraded MediaTek processors for smoother performance
-
High-resolution 1.5K displays
-
Large batteries with fast and wireless charging support
-
Flagship-level 200MP camera setups
-
Durable IP68+ rated design
While we’re still waiting for official confirmation from Oppo, the Reno 15 lineup is shaping up to be a strong follow-up to the Reno 14 series — offering better performance, a more premium design, and one of the most powerful camera setups in its class.
If launched at competitive prices, the Oppo Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Mini could give tough competition to rivals like OnePlus Nord 5, Vivo V40 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy A56 in India’s upper mid-range segment.
