Oppo may soon have a new phone for people who want flagship features but do not like carrying big, heavy devices. According to recent leaks, the company is working on a compact premium phone under its Reno series, which could be called the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini. The phone is said to be heading to the Indian market, and the launch may not be too far away.
Possible India launch and performance
As per tipster Gadgetsdata, Oppo is preparing to launch this compact flagship in India by the end of December 2025 or early January 2026. The phone is reportedly listed internally with the model number CPH2813. Even though it is expected to be smaller in size, the device is likely to offer strong performance.
Leaks suggest it could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor. On the front, the phone is said to feature a 6.32 inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This should make it a good option for users who want a sharp and smooth display without going for a large screen.
Camera and charging details
Camera hardware could be one of the main highlights of this phone. The Reno 15 Pro Mini is tipped to come with three rear cameras, led by a 200 megapixel main sensor. It may also include a 50 megapixel ultra wide camera and a 50 megapixel telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. For selfies, Oppo could add a 50 megapixel front camera.
The phone is also expected to support 80W fast charging, allowing quick top ups during the day. Some leaks also mention wireless charging support, but this is yet to be confirmed.
Design and build
In terms of design, the phone is expected to focus on a slim and lightweight body. Reports suggest it could weigh around 187 grams and be about 7.99mm thick. Oppo may launch it in a Glacier White color with a ribbon style finish on the back.
Durability is also expected to be a strong point, as the phone is tipped to come with an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
All these details are based on early leaks, so things could change before launch. Still, if the information is accurate, Oppo may soon offer Indian users a compact phone that does not compromise on performance, cameras, or premium design.
