The Oppo Find X9 series is set to make its official debut in China on October 16. The announcement came through Weibo, with the company also opening pre-reservations on its online store. The flagship lineup will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 and will be the first to introduce ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16. The series will include two models — the Oppo Find X9 and the Oppo Find X9 Pro.
Launch Plans and Pre-Reservations
Oppo confirmed that the Oppo Find X9 series will go on sale starting mid-October, with pre-orders already live in China. Both devices will ship with the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and feature ColorOS 16 out of the box. The updated interface, based on Android 16, will officially roll out a day earlier, on October 15.
Global Rollout on the Horizon
While the China launch date is set, Oppo’s Chief Product Officer Pete Lau has teased a global release as well. Although no firm date has been revealed, the company has hinted at an international expansion soon after the domestic launch.
Big Batteries and Performance Boosts
The new lineup will also feature Oppo’s Trinity Engine for enhanced performance. The Oppo Find X9 is expected to come with a massive 7,000mAh battery, while the Oppo Find X9 Pro will house an even larger 7,500mAh unit — setting new standards for battery capacity in flagship devices.
Hasselblad Cameras Return
Staying true to its camera-first philosophy, the Oppo Find X9 series continues Oppo’s collaboration with Hasselblad. The Oppo Find X9 Pro will feature a powerful 200MP periscope telephoto camera with a 70mm focal length and f/2.1 aperture. Oppo will also bundle a Hasselblad Professional Photography Kit for users who want more advanced shooting options.
