Oppo is gearing up to unveil its next flagship lineup, the Find X9 series, and the company has already started teasing the phones through images and videos. The buzz is building, and the teasers give us a good look at what’s coming.
Fresh Design and Display
A new promotional video has confirmed a big design change. Unlike the previous generation’s large, centered circular camera module, the Find X9 and X9 Pro will sport a squircle-shaped camera island tucked neatly into the corner. The display is also getting an upgrade, with ultra-slim 1.15mm bezels, giving the phone a sleek and modern look. Another interesting highlight is support for 4K Live Photos, promising sharper, more dynamic captures.
Advanced Camera System
Oppo is clearly putting the spotlight on cameras this time. The Find X9 Pro will feature a massive 200MP Hasselblad telephoto camera, powered by the new ISOCELL HP5 sensor. Unlike last year’s model, which had dual telephoto lenses, this year’s Pro will rely on this single but powerful telephoto setup. If the teasers are anything to go by, the photography experience could be one of the series’ biggest selling points.
Software and Launch Timeline
Oppo has locked in the dates: the Find X9 series will launch globally on October 16. Just a day before, on October 15, the company will also introduce its next-gen software — ColorOS 16, based on Android 16. This means the new hardware will ship with Oppo’s latest software experience right out of the box.
