Oppo’s next big flagship lineup, the Find X9 series, looks set to arrive in India soon after its official launch in China. A new Oppo device, believed to be the standard Find X9, has just appeared on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website—often a clear sign that an India release is on the way.
Certification Points to India Launch
The listing shows a phone with model number CPH2791, which is expected to be the regular Oppo Find X9. While certification doesn’t reveal specs, it’s a mandatory step before a smartphone can be sold in India. That makes it a strong hint that Oppo is preparing to bring the series here.
What Oppo Has Confirmed So Far
Even before the official reveal, Oppo has shared a few key details about the lineup. Both phones will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. Battery sizes are also big talking points—the Find X9 will pack a 7,000mAh battery, while the Find X9 Pro will go even bigger with a 7,500mAh cell.
Photography remains a major focus, with Oppo extending its Hasselblad partnership. The Pro model, in particular, is set to feature a powerful 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and both devices will come with a Hasselblad Professional Photography Kit for enthusiasts.
China Launch Details and Design
The global reveal starts in China, where the Oppo Find X9 series launches on October 16, with pre-reservations already open. Oppo has also shown off the design and colors. The standard Find X9 will be available in Velvet Titanium, Frost White, and Mist Black, while the Pro version will come in Velvet Titanium and Frost White.
