OnePlus is all set to expand its tablet lineup in China. The company has confirmed that the OnePlus Pad 2 will launch on October 27, alongside its upcoming flagship OnePlus 15 smartphone. Pre-reservations for the new tablet have already gone live in China.
Launch Event Details
The launch will take place at 7:00 PM local time (4:30 PM IST). Apart from the Pad 2 and the OnePlus 15, the company will also introduce the OnePlus Ace 6 at the same event. The Pad 2 will be available in Azure and Dark Gray color options, giving buyers two elegant choices.
Key Specs and Features
The Chinese version of the OnePlus Pad 2 is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor. It will also sport a 3K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate, promising sharp visuals and smooth performance. The tablet will be offered in multiple configurations — 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and a top-end 16GB + 512GB variant.
It’s worth noting that this Chinese edition is not the same as the global OnePlus Pad 2 that launched in markets like India in July 2024. The international version comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a 9,510mAh battery, a 13MP rear camera, and OxygenOS 15. In contrast, the Chinese model switches to the Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which sets it apart from the global release.
