OnePlus seems to be quietly working on something new for fans who prefer powerful phones that are not overly large. Fresh leaks suggest the company may add a third model to the OnePlus 15 lineup, likely called the OnePlus 15T. The idea behind this phone appears simple: flagship level performance packed into a more compact body.
What we know so far about the design
The first hints about the OnePlus 15T come from Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station. According to the leak, OnePlus has already started testing accessories for the phone, which usually means the design is close to being finalized. One such accessory is a magnetic snap case, expected to arrive in subtle white or grey shades.
On the front, the phone is tipped to feature a 6.3 inch flat display with 1.5K resolution. It is expected to be an AMOLED panel with a very smooth 165Hz refresh rate. The overall build is said to feel premium, thanks to a metal frame, and unlocking the phone could be handled by a fast and accurate 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Small phone, serious power
Even though the OnePlus 15T is expected to be smaller than the regular models, it may not compromise on performance at all. Leaks point towards Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which would put it right at the top of the performance chart.
Battery life could be another big surprise. Reports suggest OnePlus may fit a battery larger than 7,000mAh into this compact phone, something that would easily set it apart from most flagships in the same size category.
Camera approach
Instead of chasing bigger camera numbers, OnePlus may focus on a cleaner setup. The OnePlus 15T is said to come with a dual camera system, featuring a 50 megapixel main sensor and a 50 megapixel telephoto lens. This suggests a stronger focus on usable photography rather than just adding extra lenses.
Launch plans
The OnePlus 15T is expected to launch sometime in the first half of 2026, starting with China. Interestingly, reports also claim that the same phone could make its way to India under a different name, possibly as the OnePlus 15s.
As with all early leaks, these details should be taken with a pinch of salt. Still, if this information turns out to be accurate, OnePlus could be lining up a compact flagship that does not cut corners where it matters.
