OnePlus isn’t slowing down after its recent flagship launch. The company has already begun teasing its next big release, the OnePlus 15R, which is shaping up to be a more affordable companion to the main OnePlus 15 series. Alongside the phone, OnePlus is also preparing to introduce a new smartwatch.
OnePlus 15R Now Officially Teased
A promotional page on the official OnePlus UK website confirms that the OnePlus 15R is “coming soon.” While the company hasn’t revealed the full spec sheet yet, the teaser does confirm a few details such as Black and Green colour options and OxygenOS 16 out of the box.
To build hype ahead of launch, OnePlus is offering customers in the UK a £200 discount if they sign up for updates. Although India-specific teasers haven’t appeared yet, the 15R is expected to launch in multiple global markets, continuing the company’s tradition for the “R” series.
What to Expect From the OnePlus 15R
Industry reports suggest that the OnePlus 15R will be the global counterpart of China’s OnePlus Ace 6T. That means users can expect a strong upper midrange to near-flagship experience. The device is rumoured to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, slightly below the Elite variant that powers the standard OnePlus 15 but still offering top-tier performance.
The phone may feature a 6.74 inch display and could retain the super-smooth 165Hz refresh rate, making it an appealing option for gamers and heavy-duty users. Storage and RAM configurations are expected to include 12GB or 16GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage, with pricing likely around ₹55999.
A New OnePlus Smartwatch Is on the Way
Alongside the phone, OnePlus also teased a “New Watch.” Industry analysts believe this might be a refreshed version of the OnePlus Watch 3, possibly named the OnePlus Watch 3R. Since the Watch 3 only launched in February 2025, this new model may be a fine-tuned variant for specific regions rather than a full next-generation upgrade.
