The OnePlus 15 is already creating buzz months before launch. According to leaks, OnePlus is gearing up for one of its most ambitious flagships yet. The company is skipping the “14” branding, mainly because of China’s superstition around the number 4. That means the OnePlus 15 will directly follow the OnePlus 13, which arrived earlier this year.

Early reports suggest the OnePlus 15 will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, expected to be the fastest Android chip of 2025. Paired with up to 16 GB RAM and as much as 1 TB of storage, the phone clearly has power users in mind.
The display is rumoured to be a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED with 2K resolution and a super-smooth 144 Hz refresh rate, putting it head-to-head with the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Battery life may also improve, thanks to a 5,500 mAh cell backed by 100W fast charging. Camera leaks point to a triple-lens setup — a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, a 50 MP ultra-wide, and a 64 MP periscope telephoto for sharper zoom shots.

Looking back at the OnePlus 13, which used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and had a 5,400 mAh battery, the new model feels like a genuine upgrade. The shift from a 6.7-inch 120 Hz display to a 6.8-inch 144 Hz panel is a meaningful change, especially for gamers.
The camera department also looks stronger. While the OnePlus 13 delivered good results with its 48 MP periscope lens, the leaked 64 MP telephoto on the OnePlus 15 should offer much better detail and clarity when zooming.
