It looks like the OnePlus 15 could be in for a big makeover. According to new leaks from China, the upcoming flagship will take a very different design path compared to the OnePlus 13. The biggest change? That large circular camera island might be gone for good.
A New Look for the Camera Setup
Instead of the round module we’ve seen before, the OnePlus 15 is said to feature a rounded-corner rectangular camera island placed in the top-left corner of the back panel. This design is strikingly similar to the style used on the recently launched OnePlus 13T and OnePlus 13s, giving the phone a cleaner, more modern look.
Dropping Hasselblad and Changing the Display
Leaks also suggest that OnePlus could drop the Hasselblad branding altogether. The display will reportedly still be impressive, with LIPO tech for sharp visuals and ultra-thin bezels, but the resolution may take a small step down to 1.5K — a change from the higher-res panel on the OnePlus 13.
Power, Performance, and Charging
The OnePlus 15 is expected to pack a 50 MP main camera and run on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC, promising top-tier performance. One of the biggest upgrades could be the battery, which is rumored to be between 7,000 mAh and 7,500 mAh. On top of that, it may support blazing-fast 100W wired charging, making it one of the most powerful battery setups we’ve seen on a OnePlus phone.
More Details Coming Soon
That’s all that’s surfaced for now, but with the launch still some time away, more details about the OnePlus 15 are bound to leak in the coming weeks. If these early reports are accurate, this could be one of the most interesting OnePlus flagships in years.
