At its big Sankalp event, Ola Electric has rolled out two new EVs for the Indian market — the 2025 S1 Pro Plus and the Roadster X Plus. Both machines are powered by Ola’s homegrown 4680 battery cells, marking another step in the brand’s push toward indigenously developed technology.

Big Price Drop for 2025 Models

The new Ola S1 Pro Plus now comes at Rs. 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom), down by Rs. 30,000 from its earlier price of Rs. 2 lakh. Meanwhile, the 2025 Ola Roadster X Plus is priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom) — a reduction of Rs. 34,000 compared to the outgoing model. These price cuts make Ola’s premium EVs much more attractive for buyers.

Bookings and Delivery Timeline

Interested customers can book either model at the nearest Ola dealership or directly on the company’s official website. Deliveries are set to begin during Navratri 2025, towards the end of September — a festive timing that could boost demand.

Ola S1 Pro Plus: Speed and Range

The Ola S1 Pro Plus uses a 13kW (17.5bhp) electric motor, and depending on the battery pack, performance varies:

  • The 5.3kWh variant delivers a top speed of 141kmph and an IDC range of 320km.

  • The 4kWh version goes up to 128kmph with a claimed IDC range of 242km.

This combination makes it one of the fastest and longest-running electric scooters in its segment.

Roadster X Plus: Power for Long Rides

The Roadster X Plus is equipped with an 11kW mid-drive electric motor. It can clock a top speed of 125kmph, and Ola offers two range options:

  • 9.1kWh variant: an impressive 501km IDC range.

  • 4.5kWh variant: a more practical 252km IDC range.

For riders who value distance over everything, the higher variant of the Roadster X Plus could be a game-changer.

By cutting prices and introducing EVs powered by 4680 battery cells, Ola Electric has made the 2025 S1 Pro Plus and Roadster X Plus more appealing to Indian buyers. With festive-season deliveries lined up and strong range figures, these EVs could see strong traction among both urban commuters and long-distance riders.
