Good news for all the Nothing smartphone users! The company is gearing up to launch Nothing OS 4.0  Beta, built on Android 16. It is scheduled to roll out tomorrow (November 21, 2025). The company calls the update a “Flow”. It is an open Beta version, while the stable version release date is not known yet.

Nothing OS 4.0 Supported Device List

In case you are wondering about the models that will support the update. The list includes Nothing Phone 2, Nothing Phone 3, Nothing Phone 2a, and Nothing Phone 2a Plus. Once the stable version is released, it is likely to support newer devices like the Nothing Phone 3a Lite.

The update is likely to be available for devices under Nothing’s CMF sub-brand. However, Nothing has not confirmed thre detail yet.

Nothing OS 4.0 Features

With the latest update, customers will soon get a long list of changes with a sweet touch of AI. It will add multiple elements such as a Pop-Up View for floating windows, an Extra Dark Mode setting, two more lock screens, a 2×2 quick setting tile, and whatnot.

According to reports, the camera’s TrueLens Engine is expected to see performance improvements. Users can expect a refreshed camera UI, updated controls and creative presets. The camera and gallery apps might also get a more user-friendly interface to enhance usability.

In addition, Nothing OS 4.0 is expected to bring system optimisations that improve app launch speed, smooth out animations, and enhance overall device performance. These changes aim to make multitasking and daily usage more seamless on supported devices.
