Motorola is gearing up to enter the ultra-slim smartphone race with its upcoming Motorola Edge 70. The company has already started teasing the device on its official Poland website, showing off a sleek design that matches earlier leaks. The teaser tagline makes one thing clear – Motorola is betting big on thinness.
Battery and Charging
What makes the Edge 70 stand out is how it balances its slim profile with a surprisingly large battery. The phone is set to pack a 4,800mAh silicon-carbon battery, impressive for a device this thin. It will support 68W fast wired charging and also bring Qi2 wireless charging at 15W, complete with magnetic alignment for accessories. According to Motorola, the battery should deliver up to 50 hours of usage, covering music, video, and day-to-day tasks with ease.
Design, Display, and Durability
The Edge 70 is expected to measure just 5.8mm in thickness, making it one of the slimmest smartphones in the market. Despite the slimness, durability won’t be compromised – the device is tipped to feature Gorilla Glass i7 for protection and carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring resistance against both dust and water.
Performance and Cameras
Under the hood, the phone is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM for smooth multitasking. On the back, the preview images suggest a triple camera setup, headlined by a 50MP primary sensor, promising detailed photos in different conditions.
