Moto Vault has officially launched the Keeway RR300 in India, with an introductory price of Rs. 1.99 Lakh (ex-showroom). The new motorcycle is believed to be a rebranded version of the Keeway K300R, which had been on sale in the Indian market previously.
Engine, Power, and Performance
Beneath the sharp fairing, the Keeway RR300 is powered by a 292cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This motor delivers a peak output of 27.5bhp at 8,750rpm and 25Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox, and also features a slipper clutch for smoother downshifts. The bike can reach a top speed of 139kmph, offering a performance-oriented ride in the entry-level sportbike segment.
Sporty Design and Styling
In terms of appearance, the Keeway RR300 adopts an aggressive and sporty design, highlighted by boomerang-shaped LED DRLs and a multi-layered front fairing. The raked tail section and compact proportions further emphasize the motorcycle’s track-inspired stance.
Chassis, Suspension, and Hardware
Built on a bassinet trellis frame, the RR300 gets USD forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. The motorcycle rides on 110/70R17 front and 140/60R17 rear tyres, offering solid grip for both urban and spirited riding. For stopping power, it is equipped with disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS.
Features and Equipment
The feature list on the Keeway RR300 includes modern components like a TFT instrument display, LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, and a slipper clutch. These features collectively enhance rider convenience, safety, and performance.
Colours, Bookings, and Rivals
The Keeway RR300 is being offered in three colour options — white, black, and red. Customers can book the motorcycle through Benelli and Keeway dealerships across India. Deliveries are expected to begin by the end of July.
In terms of competition, the RR300 will go head-to-head with rivals like the TVS Apache RR310, BMW G 310 RR, and the KTM RC390, positioning itself in the increasingly competitive lightweight sportbike segment.
