Mini India is all set to bring back the iconic Cooper S Convertible to the Indian market. Ahead of the official launch, which is scheduled to take place later this year, the company has started accepting bookings for the model. Interested customers can reach out to authorised dealerships nationwide and reserve the car.
Mini Cooper S Convertible Bookings
Reports suggest that the car can be pre-booked by paying a fully refundable token amount of Rs 5 lakh. The Cooper S Convertible is expected to arrive in India at a starting price of around Rs 45 lakh, while the top-end variants may go up to Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). However, these are only speculations—concrete details about the pricing will be revealed at the launch event.

According to official information, the upcoming Mini Cooper Convertible will feature a fully electric fabric roof, which can be folded or removed in under 18 seconds, offering an aesthetic or open-top driving experience.
Mini Cooper S Convertible Design, USPs, and Engine
Design-wise, customers may not notice major changes on the exterior, as the model continues to carry Mini’s signature design language. It will sport oval-shaped LED headlights with matching DRLs. The car will ride on 17-inch alloy wheels, paired with an enhanced braking system and improved suspension setup.
Inside the cabin, the Cooper S Convertible will come equipped with a round 9.4-inch OLED infotainment system, supporting all major wireless car-connect technologies, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other notable features include a heads-up display, powered front seats, ambient lighting, and fabric-textured finishes on the dashboard and door panels.

Under the hood, the model is expected to use a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 201 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with a seven-speed DCT gearbox.
