Maruti Suzuki has announced revised prices for its popular car models in the Indian market, following changes introduced under the new GST structure. The decision comes after the 56th GST Council meeting held on September 3, 2025, chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
During the meeting, the Finance Ministry revealed tax relaxations for small-segment cars, a move aimed at making budget-friendly vehicles more accessible. Adding to this relief, Maruti Suzuki has also introduced its own set of additional discounts. The updated prices will be effective from September 22 and remain valid until the end of December this year.

Making Cars More Accessible
The combination of lower GST rates and fresh discounts is expected to boost demand, especially for small-segment cars that dominate the Indian passenger car market. For Maruti Suzuki, the move could strengthen its position against rivals while also appealing to cost-conscious buyers looking for value.
The timing, just ahead of the festive season, further highlights the brand’s strategy to push sales momentum through the last quarter of the year.
