Mahindra & Mahindra is continuing its steady rollout of teaser content for its upcoming lineup of concept vehicles, scheduled to be revealed on August 15. The Indian automaker is preparing to showcase four distinct concepts — Vision T, Vision S, Vision X, and Vision SXT — each offering a glimpse into the brand’s design and platform direction for future vehicles.

Mahindra Vision SXT Teased with Bold Design Elements

In its latest teaser release, Mahindra has offered a closer look at the Vision SXT, highlighting the side of the front end. The teaser confirms an upright front fascia, complemented by a muscular bonnet and flared wheel arches — the latter accentuated by rugged plastic cladding. Together, these design cues hint at an off-road capable vehicle, sparking speculation that the Vision SXT could be an advanced evolution of the Scorpio N-based pickup truck concept previously unveiled in South Africa, alongside the Thar.e Concept.

Teaser Strategy Offers Progressive Visual Reveals

So far, Mahindra has followed a consistent teaser strategy: each concept receives two teaser clips, with the first giving away minimal details and the second offering slightly more insight into design elements. This format has been applied to the Vision S and Vision T, and now the Vision SXT joins the spotlight with its own teaser, adding to the anticipation.

All Four Concepts to be Built on the Freedom_NU Platform

All four upcoming concepts — Vision T, Vision S, Vision X, and Vision SXT — are expected to be developed on Mahindra’s new Freedom_NU platform. This modular platform is engineered to support a diverse powertrain lineup, including internal combustion engine (ICE), electric vehicle (EV), and hybrid models. The Freedom_NU platform represents a strategic shift for Mahindra, focusing on flexibility and long-term product adaptability.

The final production versions of these concepts will be manufactured at Mahindra’s Chakan facility in Pune, a hub for the brand’s next-generation vehicles.

Mahindra Also Preparing to Launch Updated Production Models

While concept vehicles take the spotlight for now, Mahindra is also preparing to launch refreshed versions of its existing lineup. Models currently under testing include the updated XUV700, a new iteration of the Bolero, and the upcoming BE Rall-e. These vehicles have been spotted multiple times on Indian roads, and each is expected to bring enhancements over their current-generation counterparts.
