Mahindra is gearing up for its much-awaited Scream Electric event in Bengaluru, taking place on the 26th and 27th of November 2025. The event marks one year since the launch of the company’s Electric Origin SUVs, a lineup that made a strong impact in 2024. This year’s celebration is already creating buzz, thanks to expectations around the debut of Mahindra’s third EV, the XEV 9S. But that’s not all — the company has also confirmed a second big reveal, teased as a special edition of the BE 6.
Mahindra Teases BE 6 Formula E Racing Edition
The BE 6 has already proved to Indian buyers that an electric SUV can be sporty, stylish, and performance-oriented. After impressing fans with the limited-run Batman Edition, Mahindra has now teased another special variant that is likely to be unveiled alongside the XEV 9S.
The teaser shows the BE 6 in a bold Firestorm Orange finish, paired with a sleek, minimal LED DRL design. These visual cues hint that this could be the Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Racing Edition.
Promotional material for the event invites attendees to witness the “Winning Formula,” hinting at a theme centered around performance and motorsport. This makes it likely that Mahindra will brand the upcoming model as the Formula Edition or Racing Edition. The move echoes the brand’s earlier strategy from February 2023, when it introduced the XUV400 Formula Edition to celebrate its motorsport identity. The new BE 6 special edition is expected to include exclusive livery, badges, and interior touches that highlight Mahindra’s racing DNA.
Honoring Mahindra’s Strong Formula E Legacy
The upcoming edition also pays tribute to Mahindra’s longstanding commitment to Formula E. As one of the championship’s founding teams, Mahindra has been part of the all-electric racing series since day one. The team recently wrapped up Season 11 with an impressive performance, finishing fourth in the Team’s Championship with 186 points.
Drivers Nyck de Vries and Eduardo Mortara were instrumental in this success, securing five podiums and delivering consistent point-scoring results throughout the season.
With Season 12 set to begin at the São Paulo E Prix on 6th December 2025, Mahindra has already revealed its new race car, the M12Electro. Featuring an updated livery and renewed focus on performance, the car is expected to build on the team’s strong momentum from last season.
Mahindra’s Scream Electric event is shaping up to be a major showcase of both its road-going EV progress and its thriving motorsport legacy.
