If you’re a fan of Mahindra, there’s big news coming your way. Known as one of India’s most trusted SUV makers, Mahindra is all set to raise the excitement levels this Independence Day with the unveiling of 4 new SUVs at its upcoming Freedom_NU event. And yes, one of them is already stealing the spotlight — the Mahindra Vision SXT.

Vision SXT Teaser Sparks Buzz

Over the past few days, Mahindra has been dropping teasers to build up hype, and one of them has quietly confirmed what many were hoping for: the reveal of the Mahindra Vision SXT. The teaser clip gives us a sneak peek at the rear of the SUV, and for anyone who’s followed Mahindra’s past concepts, it looks very familiar.

In fact, it strongly resembles the Scorpio N Pik Up Concept that was shown two years ago — especially the rear section, which features a load bed with 2 spare tyres mounted upright, just like the concept.

Scorpio N Pik Up Vibes? Very Likely.

The similarities don’t stop there. The Vision SXT also shares the same taillight design as the Scorpio N Pik Up, though there’s a slight twist — the load bed opening appears to be different, hinting at design tweaks for a production-ready version.

This has led to strong speculation that the Vision SXT could actually be a more polished, possibly final version of the original Scorpio N Pik Up Concept.

Under the Hood: What to Expect

While Mahindra hasn’t officially revealed specs, all signs point to this being an ICE model, for now at least. It’s likely to come with Mahindra’s 2.2-litre diesel engine, available in both 2WD and AWD options.

What we don’t know yet is whether Mahindra will adjust the engine’s tuning compared to its SUV siblings. Either way, the power and torque should be more than enough for off-road and utility needs.

Modern Tech and Features Incoming?

Mahindra might also give the Vision SXT a premium treatment when it comes to features. Expect additions like a larger touchscreen, Level 2 ADAS suite, a digital instrument cluster, and even powered front seats. If true, it could strike a great balance between rugged utility and modern-day comfort.

The Countdown Is On

With the Freedom_NU event just days away, there’s plenty of anticipation building around what Mahindra has in store. The confirmation of the Mahindra Vision SXT already gives us a taste of what’s to come, and it’s clear that Mahindra’s SUV game — especially with EVs and next-gen ICE models — is only getting stronger.
