Lava has introduced a new entry-level smartphone, the Lava Shark 2, in India. The phone is a part of the company’s Shark series and comes with attractive features like a 120Hz display, a 50MP rear camera, and more. Here are the details.

The Lava Shark 2 is priced at Rs 6,999 and will soon be available via Lava retail stores. Buyers can also get free at-home service, which is provided to other Lava phones.

The Lava Shark 2 has an iPhone 16 Pro-like camera island at the back, which consists of a single 50MP functional camera. Upfront, there’s an HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone supports up to 4GB of RAM expansion and ships with Android 15. It will get one major Android update and two years of security updates. The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Here’s a look at its specs:
