Lava is gearing up to launch its next mid-range smartphone, the Lava Agni 4, in India this November. The device will succeed the Lava Agni 3 5G, and the company has already started teasing one of its key highlights — a redesigned dual-camera setup housed in a pill-shaped island.
Adding to the excitement, the phone has also surfaced on a certification website, hinting that its official launch might be right around the corner.
Official Teaser Reveals Design
Lava Mobiles gave fans a first glimpse of the upcoming Lava Agni 4 through a teaser post on X (formerly Twitter). The image shows the phone sporting a horizontal pill-shaped camera module, quite similar to the one seen on the Nothing Phone 2a.
The setup includes two camera lenses with a dual-LED flash placed above them, and a bold “AGNI” branding positioned between the sensors. The design gives the device a sleek, symmetrical look — a notable design leap compared to its predecessor.
Certification Listing Hints at a Massive Battery
In a parallel development, a new Lava smartphone — believed to be the Lava Agni 4 — appeared on the IECEE certification website under the model number LBP1071A.
According to the listing, the handset could come equipped with a 7,000mAh lithium-polymer battery. If confirmed, this would mark a huge upgrade over the 5,000mAh battery on the Agni 3, which supported 66W fast charging.
A battery this large could make the Agni 4 one of the longest-lasting smartphones in its price range.
Expected Specifications
While Lava hasn’t shared the full spec sheet yet, leaks and early reports suggest that the Lava Agni 4 could feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smoother visuals for gaming and scrolling.
It’s likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, paired with UFS 4.0 storage for faster app loading and data transfers.
On the camera front, the phone is expected to sport dual 50MP sensors on the rear, aligning with the teaser image. Combined with AI-based image optimization, this could help Lava step up its photography game in the mid-range market.
