o celebrate the first anniversary of the Windsor EV in India, JSW MG Motor India has introduced a special edition of its electric car — the Windsor EV Inspire Edition. This new model brings fresh cosmetic upgrades and will be limited to just 300 units in the Indian market, making it a true collector’s edition.
A Fresh Look Inside and Out
The Inspire Edition stands out with its dual-tone Pearl White and Starry Black paint job, paired with all-black alloy wheels featuring rose gold accents. Step inside, and the premium feel continues with Sangria Red and Black leather upholstery, gold highlights across the cabin, and Inspire-branded embroidery on the headrests.
To complete the package, MG is also including themed accessories like branded mats, cushions, and rear window sunshades — subtle touches that add to the car’s exclusivity.
Power and Performance
Under the hood, nothing changes — and that’s not a bad thing. The Inspire Edition continues with the same 38 kWh battery paired with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that delivers 134 bhp and 200 Nm of torque to the front wheels.
The EV promises a range of up to 331 km on a single charge. With DC fast charging, the battery can be topped up to 80% in about 40 minutes, making it practical for city and highway runs alike.
Price and Availability
The Windsor EV Inspire Edition is priced at ₹16.65 lakh (ex-showroom). For buyers who prefer a lower upfront cost, MG is also offering it under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. With this option, the starting price drops to ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), with the battery leased separately.
Bookings for the Inspire Edition are now open, and deliveries are scheduled to begin on October 15.
With its limited-run styling, premium interiors, and proven performance, the Windsor EV Inspire Edition is aimed at customers who want something a little more exclusive in the growing electric vehicle market. At just 300 units, it’s likely to turn heads on the road — and in the showroom.
