Jio has introduced its ‘Safety-First’ JioBharat phones at the ongoing IMC (Indian Mobile Congress) 2025 event. The feature phone offers several smart security features, enabling people, particularly elderly, women, and children, to stay connected. Let’s check out the features.

JioBharat Phone Safety-First Features

Jio’s ‘Safety-First’ phone is touted to be “India’s first smart, secure, and always-connected solution for children and dependent elders.” The phone supports,

  • Location Monitoring.
  • Parental controls to track calls and messages, and block unknown callers. There will be an option to block access to apps and unnecessary distractions.
  • The ability to monitor the phone’s battery health and network strength.

The JioBharat feature phone will also come with up to 7 days of battery life, allowing people to use it for a longer duration.

Jio also showcased the real-life scenarios where the above-mentioned capabilities will come in handy. Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Sunil Dutt, President, Reliance Jio, said,
